Well, if you feel like there should be something else, that's your call. I feel like an anniversary doesn't have to be really over the top as long as you can acknowledge that it's a special day for both of you.
I was, a little. Takeshi and I have known each other since we were kids, but we didn't actually start going out until high school. I think we were both worried about what would happen if we took our relationship further.
A lot of people worry about that kind of thing, from what I've seen. My teammates were in the same situation, recently. So I guess you just have to hope your friendship's strong enough to ... get through it. If it's a bad outcome.

That's when it's important to communicate. But I know that's not easy for everyone. [Like a certain friend of hers and a certain world-famous skater back home, for example.]
