I was, a little. Takeshi and I have known each other since we were kids, but we didn't actually start going out until high school. I think we were both worried about what would happen if we took our relationship further.

It is scary to think about what might happen if something goes wrong...but really, the only thing you can both do is try and hope for the best.

A lot of people worry about that kind of thing, from what I've seen. My teammates were in the same situation, recently. So I guess you just have to hope your friendship's strong enough to ... get through it. If it's a bad outcome.

That's when it's important to communicate. But I know that's not easy for everyone. [Like a certain friend of hers and a certain world-famous skater back home, for example.]

All the way out to Pluto? That's definitely enough time to get that close.

That's amazing! I can't even imagine traveling that far...

It really was. It ... it was an honor to be chosen to fly that far.
